Ha! We tried. It was … not successful. More on that later.

But the good news is that we both settled on some colors for the baby’s “room.” This is our inspirational print. I’m going to see if I can get it on some fabric.

What did we do before Etsy?

What did we do before Etsy?

Those who have been to our house might notice that these are the same colors of the trim throughout our house. These are the only four colors we can both stand behind, apparently.

But see!? Chickens! And no pink! Although, I must admit that sometimes … sometimes when you add the right color of pink in with these colors, it actually looks pretty good.

I also like these. Seth is still getting over the “cartooniness” of these two fabrics. He’ll get there. He’ll get there:

more chickens!

more chickens!

ps – Babies R Us is the devil.

Time to get out mother’s sewing machine. Squares can’t be that hard, right?

I agree. They’re all great but the top is my favorite!

I’m partial to the fruit one, but they’re all pretty great. Yay for cuteness!

And, uh, if those two fabrics are overly cartoony for Seth, he’s going to have a difficult time navigating Tot Two’s childhood, given that (typically hideous) cartoons are slapped on pretty much every item for kids. He should start preparing himself.
